4-Day Southern China Splended Experience-Guangzhou and Guilin

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Spend day 2 taking in Lingnan culture. Kick start the day by visiting one of the Top 10 scenic spots in Guangzhou—Temple of the Six Banyan Trees,a noted historic site with over 1400 year. If you are into the beauty of folklore arts and crafts or have an appetite for Lingnan culture, then Chen Ancestral Shrine will hit you. Finish the morning visiting by indulging in Guangzhou’s delicious local food at a local restaurant. Have a walk through Qing Ping Market after the lunch to relax before head to the next stop, the biggest street market in Guangzhou with multiple shops of Chinese medicines (including live scorpions!). Continue your way to see Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall. Constructed in 1931 on the site of Sun Yat-sen’s former presidential office, the Memorial Hall is for commemorating Sun Yat Sen(孙中山). Witnessing many events in Guangzhou history, it is now the symbol of Guangzhou architectures. End today by taking flight for next destination—Guilin. The charm of Guilin will be reveal by taking the Li River Cruise from Guilin City to Yangshuo County in 4 hours. The cruise starts from Mopanshan pier and arrives in Yangshuo County, the most beautiful part of Li River. As the essence of Guilin scenery, views are changing beautifully. Farmers tending rice paddies, lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river and unique appearance of different hills refresh the view constantly. Ever turn brings a new surprise. Lunch on the cruise is included. After a whole day’s sightseeing, the driver will take you back to the hotel in Guilin. The last day in Guilin will be an essence tour of the city. Visit the classical representative of Guilin Karts landform— Reed Flute Cave. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Elephant Trunk Hill Park is a must-see as the symbol of Guilin city. And climb up to the top of Fubo Hill for a bird’s eye view of the whole city.
