Yao Minority People
You will take a 2 hours' drive to Longsheng. The most famous attraction are the Terraced Fields first cultivated by Zhuang and Yao minority people in Yuan Dynasty. The fields wind towards the summit of the mountains. There are many viewing points along the way where you can get an astonishing view of the terraces as they curve around the mountains. Lunch is at a local restaurant which features local dishes. Then visit the villages to interact with Zhuang and Yao minority people.

Today is a free day for you to relax and explore. Longsheng is hub for about 10 minority groups who live in the area. Explore the local villages, you may find varied dress, building style and diverse folk customs very interesting.
